CNN Headline News is reporting that a woman has been shot near a Home Depot in Falls Church, VA, and that authorities are investigating whether this is another sniper attack.

Also, witnesses have reportedly said the driver is a light olive-skinned man who could be wearing a blue jacket and blue pants. Police would not confirm that information and said they had not heard that physical description of the driver.

Then this shooting happens a few hours later.....This followed a similiar pattern with an earlier announcement of a "break in the case".

Th initial reports from the last shooting at the gas station said that his wife was in the car as he was gassing up. They declined to confirm that at the time. Does anyone know for sure?

I pointed out to him that he might look at gang symbols too. The playboy bunnies weren't the issue although that is a sign used by gangs as an identifier. MD was talking about stars, and the shooting locations were creating a star pattern. I pointed out that gangs also have star patterns in their signs and symbols. (star of david and star of islam are both used)

Would you mind telling me what firearms does cause rounds to tumble? I've only read about the what i called spinning..

It's not the firearm that causes the round to tumble. The .223 is just like any other rifle round where the rifling on the inside of the barrel causes the round to spin. The increased stability means longer range and better accuracy.

The round tumbles when it hits an object, the reason being a pocket of air left in the nose of the bullet. The nose collapses, the bullet destabilizes, and rips itself apart as it travels through an object.
