He could have taken his shot last night and then immediately melted into the large Muslim community around the area of the shooting. No need to get on the free-way to make a get away.
I suspect the guy has several pre-planned Muslim safehouses in which to hide.

No need to get on the free-way to make a get away. I still think he works for a maintance firm and has use of several vehicles. He could be driving into a industrial area and slipping into their shop.
