It's not worth arguing this point with somebody who believes it's OK to use the military to bomb an aspirin factory to distract the public from personal felonies.

I agree. Especially since the CIA apparently discovered RoundUp in the area and claimed that such flimsy evidence was proof that the factory was producing chemical weapons.

I would never discuss anything with anyone who believed that Clinton was justified in bombing Sudan (who incidentally offered Clinton one Osama bin Laden's extradition in 1996). I was here on that day displaying outrage with many FReepers who have since been banned.

So you were saying?

I believe there are several points that everyone here is skimming but are failing to hit hard center.

1) The CIA has been a major ingredient in almost every US involved foreign conflict. Osama was hired, trained, and funded to protect North Afganistan from the Russians. Why? because that is where the most Opium was farmed. Loas, Thailand, and Vietnam were the top producers before the middle east. Korea was before that. (both those wars started due to CIA operations) So I now find my self hard pressed agreeing with anything they want to do in our good name of America.

2} If The federal government would stop chopping up our right to bare arms and give more rights to citizens to make arrests or otherwise take action to protect each other we would see less crime and our prison system would not be so stressed.

3} The original ideal of our government was that our federal government had limited power and the people could stop unwanted action. Ha ha look at us now. If the federal government spent 1/4 of our military budget on state law enforcement and gave good benifits to police then the ploice would have more loyalty, better equipment, better training, and more employees.

Because the above is true and the local police have poor equipment, heavy gun control, and no clue what they are doing our feds have to jump in as the heroes of the day. "Never fear the FBI is here :) "
