Ok just keeping people posted,

THIS IS ILLINOIS, Including Chicago

This is the state link:

http://www.elections.state.il.us/

I'd like to be an election judge. Who do I contact?
Contact either the Republican or Democrat Party chairman (depending on your party affiliation). These can be found in the 2001 County Officials Book. The counties are listed alphabetically. Several offices are listed for each county. The last two entries are the Republican and Democrat County Chairmen (i.e. their name and telephone number) for that specific county. Or, you can contact your local election authority. A list of County Clerks and Board of Election Commissioners http://www.elections.state.il.us/VoteInfo/pages/ElecAuthorityList.asp
is available on our website. This list provides an address, a telephone number, and in some instances, an e-mail address.

How can I become a deputy registrar?
Certain individuals, upon written request, may be appointed deputy registrars. For detailed information regarding deputy registrars, see the Deputy Registrar Guidelines. (This is a 20-page booklet.) For specific information or to request an Application to Become a Certified Bona Fide Civic Organization, contact Jim Withers in the Springfield office (217.782.4141), or Marc Petrone in the Chicago office (312.814.6440).
