At least the Crew is ok. The other 91 or 92 can handle Arabia. And one of those B1B's would frighten France into surrendering! Arabia delenda est.

I'd love to see ALL of Saddam's palaces carpet bombed at the same time!
I doubt if his hunting rifle could shoot down a B-52!
To: CARepubGal
given that Saudi Arabia is a friend and financier of the terrorists, this would be easier than risking a plane ...
To: Bobby777
A quick, easy, painless solution! I like it! Nice Sub.

that's why it's insanity to trade them away ... we're reducing from 18 to 14, possibly making #'s 726-729 SSGN's (Tomahawk platforms) ... we originally had 24 slated for construction ... they're quiet ... they're reliable ... they're accurate ... and they jihad like nobody's business ...

"He is a dangerous man. He has gassed his own people. That's why he has to be disarmed," Bush said. Does this mean Bubba-2 is going to declare war on Janet Reno?
To: Dante3
Yet our government turns a blind eye to the Saudis and is prepared to cause havoc on the Iraqis instead - figure that one out. I've got it figured out,and so do you and everybody else here. The only difference is that most won't admit it. What is going on is that there are elections coming up,and nothing helps the poll numbers like a war. Iraq is the target because too many of the American "elite" families have business dealings with Saudi Arabia, and because Israel wants Saddam Hussein taken out.Bubba-2 wants the Jewish vote,so Iraq it is.

The IDF?
There are none tougher.
There are none braver.
There are, thank G-d, none better motivated.
Shalom! Shalom!

Wouldn't that be great if we moved before the end of the month, and had a new interim government in place in a liberate Iraq just before the election! (Not to play politics with the war, of course...) Bubba-2 isn't going to order a attack before the elections because it is too risky. While a easy victory is about as close to a certainy as you will ever see, there are no guarantees. Things COULD go bad,and this would cost him at the polls. Right now he has great poll numbers from just talking about a war,and there is no reason for him to risk losing this.

This is a clash of civilizations in case you haven't been paying attention, and Iraq is a leader of the opposition. No,they're not. Where did you get that from? Israel is probably the only nation in the middle east that is more hated and feared than Iraq by the other Arab nations. Saddam Hussein isn't even a Muslim fundie. All he is is "easy".
To: Hila
And our nation is still in a safe place, so long as we don't mess with Israel's well-being. So,you think the US exists to serve Israel? Ain't you living in the wrong country?
To: CARepubGal
b/c the dhimmis (aka Jooos) successfully created industry, a modern state and if allowed to, would influence 22 Arab countries to do the same. Not a chance. Their hatred of Israel is based on religion, and there is no reasoning with religious fundies.
To: CARepubGal
And one of those B1B's would frighten France into surrendering! Big deal. Scooby Doo could scare France into surrendering.
DAMN! Am I the only one who misses Angelique?
To: veronica
Totally agree with President Bush, It made me crazy during the previous Gulf war when the scuds hit Israel and they had to just sit there and take it.

Great picture!

They are not a damn bit better than the American military in ANY respect.

Yet, we tell the Iraqis that they can not react violently, and with all the weapons at their disposal, when we attack with the intent of destroying their country There is absolutely no intent on the part of our government, nor does our resolution indicate, that we intend to "destroy their country." We intend to replace the regime. Don't think for a minute we won't get a lot of help from within Iraq.
Your fear is overriding your reason.

Do not ever bet your life on that.

Not me, but my late Father was a US Navy Phantom II jock in the 1960s. I had asked him what was the fastest he had ever flown an F-4. He told me that they took their new (at the time) F-4Bs and pushed them to ~mach 2.35 with a half-load of JP-5 for the J-79s in a clean configuration, before NATOPS and McDonald-Douglas put the official service restrictions as mach 2.1 ...
