Yet, we tell the Iraqis that they can not react violently, and with all the weapons at their disposal, when we attack with the intent of destroying their country as we destroyed Serbia. In fact, President Bush even mentioned, in his speech, that we will try Iraqi generals for war crimes if they resist our attack.
Talk about our arrogance.
I predict that when we begin our attack on Iraq, they will throw everthing they have at us and then fight our troops in the streets and alleys of their cities. Why? Because that is the way people fight to protect their country and homes - unless, they are French.
I also predict that when all else fails, the Iraqis will set fire to all their oil wells and storage facilities - a scourched earth tactic, similar to what the Russians employed against the invading Germans.
It won't be as easy as the administration wants us to believe. Of course, we can eliminate the entire population from the safety of 35,000 ft and by cruise missiles fired hundreds of miles away.
Attack on Iraq will be messy and bloody (Iraqi blood), and President Bush, and the US, may one day regret the slaughter he is about to commence.
I hate to say this, but I must. We don't have to put any nukes into the middle east now, because the Israelis have a deterrent weapon to aid in preventing Saddam from using his WMDs!
