** LOUISVILLE, KY. FREEPER MEETING **
Well, we are definitely having a Louisville, Kentucky Free Republic meeting on Thursday, October 24th (next Thursday). I had been wanting to have a meeting for quite a while without much response. However, after some chatter this week on the Kentucky locale board, I have at least 7 of us so far who are committed to this date and I hope that many, many more can join us.
Is 6pm a good time? Or is that too early to start, maybe 7? We're not going to put an ending time on this thing, because the last two times we got together, it was a LONG night. Now, where do we want to meet? In the past, we have met at O'Charley's and Vince Staten's Bar-B-Q. There are a number of good restaurants on Hurstbourne Parkway that I believe would accomodate us. There's Romano's Macaroni Grill; Don Pablo's; O'Charley's; Lone Star Steakhouse, and many more. If we can come up with something resembling a consensus, I will call the restaurant of choice this weekend and book it.

Count me in anytime after 6 pm. The location to me isn't that important, as long as it's in the Louisville area.
Once you firm up the time and location you should post the info on the Kentucky FReeper home page.

* KY. FREEPER MEET - THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24TH * It's official. We are meeting at Don Pablo's, Hurstbourne Lane, Louisville, starting at 6pm THIS THURSDAY. We will be meeting in their patio room, which is SMOKING-FRIENDLY. And, for any consumers of adult beverages, they told me that Thursday is HAPPY HOUR, ALL DAY! I hope that I can make it.
It seems that every time I say that I am going to attend - something seems to come up - transportation problem - change in kids schedules that makes me unable to attend, etc., I REALLY want to attend - I just hate to say that I am coming and then at the last minute - unable to make it. :((

I'll be there with one of my friends. I spoke with LocDoc last night and he'll be there, and he might bring a friend or two.
