** LOUISVILLE, KY. FREEPER MEETING **

Well, we are definitely having a Louisville, Kentucky Free Republic meeting on Thursday, October 24th (next Thursday). I had been wanting to have a meeting for quite a while without much response. However, after some chatter this week on the Kentucky locale board, I have at least 7 of us so far who are committed to this date and I hope that many, many more can join us.

Is 6pm a good time? Or is that too early to start, maybe 7? We're not going to put an ending time on this thing, because the last two times we got together, it was a LONG night. Now, where do we want to meet? In the past, we have met at O'Charley's and Vince Staten's Bar-B-Q. There are a number of good restaurants on Hurstbourne Parkway that I believe would accomodate us. There's Romano's Macaroni Grill; Don Pablo's; O'Charley's; Lone Star Steakhouse, and many more. If we can come up with something resembling a consensus, I will call the restaurant of choice this weekend and book it.

Of course you all are invited!

Okay, I am going to try my hand at directions for you here.

You would take I-65 South (for less than 1.5 miles) to the I-71/I-64 exit.
Then, take the I-71 exit on the left and merge onto I-71 North.
You'll drive for about 1/2 a mile, then take the I-64 East exit.
You'll stay on I-64 for about 8 1/2 miles, then take the KY-1747/Hurstbourne Pkwy exit (ex.#15). And Don Pablo's is now going to be about a mile straight down Hurstbourne Pkwy. in a shopping center.

Okay, folks. This is the official after-meeting write-up for the Kentucky Freeper Meet. We all met last night at Don Pablo's, Hurstbourne Pkwy, Louisville.

Those in attendance were:
RonPaulLives, upchuck, wattsup, LocDoc (and two guests), Fred Mertz (and one guest), and strick68.

We discussed everything under the sun, you people; from lucky Muslim murderers (read: snipers) to oppresive slavemasters (read: Democrats and RINO's).

We are sorry to miss those of you who couldn't make it. But you definitely missed out. We had a grand 'ol time; we shut the place down, folks (which has become the norm for a Louisville, KY freepers meeting). And, after a little prodding, we had great service. The manager and waitress both even told us they were Republicans. It was decided that our next unofficial/official meet will be January 23rd. That should be plenty of advance notice and simple for everyone to remember: 1-23 (easy as 1-2-3). Well, I am back to work, folks.

Peace RonPaulLives,

Is there any way you could move this to Monday, January 20th? I'm off on Monday nights and could attend in that case.
