Yes, it was. Also, Rush mentioned on his show about something up in Minnesota but I have not heard anything else about it. I search FR and nothing. I suppose, though, all you have to do is pick a state and there is fraud there.

I'm afraid this election the fraud is going to be very, very blatant and the Dems will be big beneficiaries of it. My prediction: The dems admit there is a problem, say we have live with the results this time, but now lets fix it. Then they will push same day voting/registration and motor voter as the way to fix it. Just my prediction.

I saw the Minnesota story on this page yesterday. A leftist organization in NY is running ads to encourage young lefties to visit Minnesota and vote for Wellstone. Since Minnesota allows same-day voter registration, anyone can walk up and vote; no ID required.

The thing in Minn. was about the Democrats trying to get young people bused into Minn. to help get out the vote for Wellstone likely leading to illegal votes from these people.

Now, I have a question. How exactly is it that requiring ID restricts voters? I see this quoted all the time from Democrats. What are the mechanics of how this stops voters?besides not having ID which is easily remedied.

Right now, in Minnesota, you walk to the polling place with a friend who is already registered, he vouches for you - says he knows who you are and that you live in the precinct, and you get to vote.

There was a bill in the legislature last year that would limit the number of new voters that a registered voter would be allowed to vouch for to ten, but the Democrats killed it.

IMHO it is a BIG problem.

I live in NC and there is a database on the internet for all to see that has every registered voter, where he/she votes, political party, etc. Also, you can view a history of voter - what elections he voted in and how (absentee, in person).

According to my understanding, on election day,at different times during the day, the poll workers will give a list to the parties of who has not voted, with the idea they are going to call the people. From what I have heard, these people look up the history and close to closing time will send bus loads of people to vote for these people.

I think that is a red herring argument. They are putting that up as a throw away point. When they do agree, they say, okay, ID is fine. Now, it should be okay to present it on election day. We gave in on ID, now how much more unreasonable do you want to be? So they say.

We've seen a lot of evidence of systematic voter fraud. The democrats were caught red-handed cheating in Santa Anna CA and in New Orleans in 1996, law enforcement proved the case against them and yet nothing was done to punish the perps. In 1998 the dems got caught cheating in Miami and in this case somebody was punished. But this has become a pattern for the democrats it seems. The news media should focus in on the corruption, instead they ignore it. Yesterday they passed some new law in washington to allegedly deal with this, but apparently it is a very weak reform that will accomplish nothing. This is a massive problem in our country and nobody cares about it seemingly.
