President Bill Clinton will be remembered by history for only one thing, which is a bit of a shame since his record is so thoroughly shabby and dishonorable that it deserves closer study.

Well put.

When the Rosenbergs gave nuclear secrets to the soviets, they were tried for treason and executed. When the Clintons gave nuclear weapons to the North Koreans ________(fill in the blank)__.

There is no value in any treaty where one of the parties is a congenital liar.

In this case both were.

Clinton, observing this situation, saw what needed to be done: Pyongyang would have to be appeased.

* * *

The liberal attachment to treaties is thus laid bare for the chimera it is. When strength and resolve were required, Bill Clinton supplied weakness and legerdemain. And in this, as in the war on terror, he has bequeathed a more dangerous world to his successor.

"There is no safety for honest men but by believing all possible evil of evil men." That includes assuming that they will lie, cheat and betray.

BILL CLINTON: AN EVIL MAN, AN EVIL DOER : YET ANOTHER LEGACY OF HIS PRESIDENCY.

Perry: "The policy team believed that the North Korean regime would strongly resist such reform ..."

This is incredibly telling. Clinton simply wanted to give the North Koreans aid, and wouldn't let their intrasigence to (some responsibly-minded on) our negotiating team's thoughts toward quid pro quo stand in the way.

This is very much in line with Madeleine Aldim's 1998 statement (August 17th, I believe it was) that the US shouldn't be the only superpower, and that we are sanguine with China's moves toward being a second superpower. This Korean aid and Albright's China statement were just a tip of the hand showing us how absolutely treasonous the Clinton Administration was, IMHO!

The whirlwind lies just before us. How many of our number will have to pay the ultimate sacrifice because of the Kurinton's? What are we going to do about it?

The only people pathological liars trust are other pathological liars. Now there is a conundrum.
