Unfortunately, Tribe Leftist is in the process of allying itself with outside tribes which threaten America. True enough, as they share the same goals, but for different reasons.
RE Gramsci...Yes, he WAS right, but I don't think he created and set into motion a vision of the downfall of a civilization, as much as he SAW and COMPREHENDED, before anyone else did, those forces which inevitably destroy all cultures.
Radical utopians rarely pause or care to consider the consequences orthe cost of their visions. This time around, there are perhaps enough of us who recognize full well the road that we're travelling as well as as its hellish destination. It's one of those watershed moments in history.

If the USA goes down the tubes, the world will enter a new dark ages, and you will not be safe anywhere. Not the Azores, not Chile, no where. Absolutely true. And there are things worse than death.

Where was this militia during the slaughter at Waco?Beginning to form up outside the Texas DPS roadblocks guarding the FBI/HRT. Every citizen who stopped was considered a danger to this police state action. IMO, that is why the 4/19 pogrom was initiated when it was. The FBI wasn't "exhausted" as Reno so claimed; they were worried.

I will concede it will be dark days for the world if we do. That is a point I am always trying to make when speaking of the number of people are government is allowing in and the destruction they are causing. It is affecting all areas of the life in this country and not for the good, except for a few people who are getting rich or politicans who are gaining power and wealth.
If the US goes, we can't help anyone.
But, actually if it goes, my family will be better able to survive in a primitive environment, than an urban one.

The NRA recently reported in the last election, with voters faced with the threat of anti-gun Al Gore winning the presidency, that its membership surged from under three million to over four million. Some say that number is slowly edging closer to five. In a nation of 280 million people, nearly 1.5% of the population one person out of sixty six is a member of the countrys largest gun lobby. Its membership may be 1.5% of the population, but it is closer to 5% of the voting population. This is why the anti-gunners have to sneak around with stuff like ballistic fingerprinting rather than calling for an outright ban on guns, which we all know is their ultimate (and unachievable) goal.

I'm one to talk about fighting to the last barrio, I have an ocean crossing sailboat ready to depart.
But really, it will be hard to find safety anywhere if the USA goes down.

Hi SDIM, I'm typing up my manuscript these days. I grabbed the domain FreeAmericans.net, I'm going to use that to post chapters and ordering info.

The USA is the citidel, the last redoubt. If our best fighters leave via the back sally port, the citidel will fall, and those who fleed will be run down and killed, or forced to live in the marshes like animals.

The United States is the last semi-free nation on earth. There is nowhere else to go. We must make our stand here.

Let me guess the name of your boat?????????
I do agree, the only hope would be so far in the boonies and have nothing, or appear to have nothing.

Utah has a state militia that is very similar to what you describe in Texas. A few years ago some liberals floated a proposal to disband the militia (called the Utah State Defense Force, USDF) because "who needs a militia anymore? - no one is going to attack us...." Their idea was shot down almost immediately (so to speak).
Membership in a militia does not confer Second Amendment rights. Each individual HAS the right to bear arms for self and collective defense. The Second only affirms that right and states that the Federal government cannot infringe on it (yeah, right!).

Yes, but it's important to retain mobility as well, unless you are VERY well hidden.

You are right, just don't think we can achieve that.
Was I right on the name of your boat?

Possible that American publishers don't want to publish the truth?

America's civilian militias have done some very patriotic things such as piloting the Flying Tigers in China against the Japanse during WW2, as well as flying Spitfires in England before the U.S. entered the war, but around here, most of what I've seen is that militias are just excuses for law enforcement to play "undercoverman" and egg decent people into doing things that they wouldn't ordinarily do...
