Some family members were meant or chosen to be the strong ones, and maybe I am this momentYou just summed it up right there. When my Dad went at Xmas '99, I was the strong one....then, just 2 months later my lovely 37 y.o. nephew was taken from us. Again, I had to be the strong one, and I hadn't come close to healing the loss of my Dad. Now, my mom has just departed, and I'm still the one holding it all together. You can do it. Just be sure you set aside some time to look to yourself. For me, a daily hot tub under the stars is like a mini-vacation from all the troubles. Best wishes......God Bless.....

and God bless you too... That must be hard, but when we have to be strong, somehow we find it. ;o)

I keep looking for signs, and I see them now and then. Little things, like the initials for the moving company we used to empty one of mom's houses was "CMC," my dad's initials. I know that sounds silly, but it was accompanied by the fact that the people just "felt" right. Also, just 2 weeks before mom's passing, a face suddenly appeared in a pine tree in the front yard. We'd NEVER seen it before, and upon close inspection, we are positive that it is just natural growth, not man made. It gave us a lot of comfort. Weird, I know, but true.

YES YOUR RIGHT... I SEE THE FACE ON THE TREE TOO... ;O)
