My new theory: the sniper is an excon who was busted by Moose years ago. The sniper murdered someone in Seattle, stolen the credit card, and headed to DC for revenge.

You may be right that the case is all about the Moose-man. Yeah the stolen credit card was a huge mistake. He should have just demanded to use the anonymous account where they provide the reward money

except Moose was in Portland. They were looking at a terrorist cell learning diving in Tacoma a while back.

My new theory: the sniper is an excon who was busted by Moose years ago. The sniper murdered someone in Seattle, stolen the credit card, and headed to DC for revenge. With all the al-Qaeda types out here in Oregon and Washington I am thinking more along those lines. I have always thought this was terrorist related. And it has driven me nuts that they have not entertained that theory actively. Wonder if they will change their tune?

That is straight out of Hollywood. Truth stranger than fiction? What did Moose actually do in Seattle, I wonder.? Did he ever make arrests for prosecution? Or was he always a bureaucratic pencil pusher? Inquiring minds...

whooo! Another good point! I was kind of thinking that one as well, Portland is not that for from the same area! This is getting really "weird" is all I can really say!
