Metal detectors, usualy detect metal. Unless a body is full of metal, it would not show up.

As I am watching live now they are detecting metal and flaging it for later inspection.

As the love of my life wanted and received a metal detector so she could work the beach on Padre Island, we found a lot of pop-tops and beer cans, but no dead bodies.
