I hope you don't mind, I excerpted a couple of paragraphs to give the flavor of the article, then I followed it with the complete article, which, I think is worth reading. It really points out the failure of the Democrats accurately.

Nope. Ann Coulter is an embarrasement to every thoughtful, reasonable Conservative on Earth. She's the perfect template from which to construct a straw man if you're a Leftist. She basically serves up 101 reasons to loathe conservatives, and none of them would be policy based. She's callous, nasty, vicious, and moderately entertaining. No intelligent person takes her seriously that's for sure. I doubt she even takes herself seriously. She knows she's a political hack and in it for the $$.

When one assumes the role of spokesman for "thoughtful, reasonable Conservatives", shouldn't he/she exhibit some semblance of rationality? The unfavorable comments directed at Ms. Coulter indicate absolute ignorance of America's culture war. The assertion that Ms. Coulter is an embarrassment (note the correct spelling) insults ALL reasonable individuals, including those (very) few reasonable liberals.
Perhaps "The Subliminal Kid" is The Subliminal Kid from Nirvana (DU?)
