I'm sure Michelle Malkin will say here's just one more depressing example of what might have been prevented had the INS been concerned with protecting our national security instead of coddling illegal aliens. I would hope our political class in Washington would draw the appropriate lessons from what happened in the last couple of weeks but quite frankly I doubt it. We should be toughening up our immigration laws and making it easier to deport illegal aliens but somehow the welfare of us Americans gets put last on the agenda. Yeah, where were the deportation proceedings here that never happened?
