remember the Butterfly Ballot??? I have been thinking about that, and who could have dreamed up such a design. I mean a metal strip between folding sheets of paper?????

The ONLY reason I can think of was that they could stack a bunnch of them and poke a hole through their candidate thereby ionvalidating and vote for anyone else. (two holes)

If the metal strip was not there you could not push a pencil through a stack of them.

What other purpose could there be for that metal strip??

To prevent all these muscle-bound "grandmas and grandpas from punching the hole so hard that it would tear the entire ballot.
