Muhammed joined the National Guard in Louisiana at the age of 18. He served there for 7 years until he was 25. From age 25 to 34, he was active duty military. From 34 to 35 he was a member of the Oregon National Guard. He left as a buck seargent, but he was in the military in one shape or form for 17 of his 24 adult years.

Again, his islamic conversion is most assuredly his impetus for being a psychotic murderer, but to say this guy was a vet is accurate. He was wearing a uniform during the Carter, Reagan, Bush I, and Clinton administrations.

We had a drill at Ft Knox who didn't like the rules about busting out trainees. They'd changed.

He would wait for ftx week and walk the little tent city every night and accidentally trip over the ropes of the tent of a private that he wanted to hurt. He fall into the tent and punish the kid.

It happened once to often and we nailed his @ss.

He wasn't one of us. He was a mean-hearted SOB instead of being a dangerous warrior. There's a huge difference.
