Here's a question. Let's say MD, VA, and AL all indict and convict these clowns of murder. If, say, AL says "fry them" (or whatever they do in AL), and the guy is in a MD prison, what happens?

A patrol officer happened on the scene on Sept 21, and saw a suspect standing over the victims. Authorities kept him in isolation since the info on the snipers broke, until suspect photos were provided from DC. Police Chief said he immediately ID'd Muhommed in a photo lineup.

Maryland just might let these creeps take a one way "field trip."
They deserve a date with the "hang man" in Sweet Home Alabam.

I say they just try them on one murder in AL. Those guys look like they are ready to spark those guys up pretty quickly. Maryland, Va is going to be a circus that could take decades and millions of dollars. The libs will be out in droves to protect their civil rights. I don't think those AL boys will put up with big city lib views.

I heard it said today that the kid (17 year old) may have been the killer in this case. I hope so, then he'll get the chair too.

Va is going to be a circus that could take decades and millions of dollars... Attorney General (and next Governor) Jerry Kilgore will be anxious to see justice done in Virginia.

Police Chief in Montgomery fingered Muhommed as the shooter. Police witness was definite on that. Police came upon scene immediately after it transpired. Chased perps for a half-mile, but they escaped into some woods.

However, this is exactly the question that must be asked of Kennedy-Townsend, and soon.

Make a note that no-one has explained yet what they were doing in Marion, Alabama.

I really like the police captain (name?) who held that press conference: brisk, fact-filled, careful about some things but said aloud he couldn't reveal some evidence because it might mess up investigation, clearly stated that everything he said was about his case and not DC's, etc.
His straight-forward, clear, and non-time-consuming presentation was excellent IMO.
Also said that they were going for the death penalty for BOTH prisoners.....Malvo to be tried as an adult.

Alabama police to seek death penalty for sniper suspects Duncan calls for 'same unified front' as the task force Friday, October 25, 2002 Posted: 10:25 AM EDT (1425 GMT)
MONTGOMERY, Alabama (CNN) -- Alabama police are pursuing capital murder charges and plan to seek the death penalty for suspected snipers John Allen Muhammad and John Lee Malvo, 17, in connection with the killing of a woman in Montgomery on Sepember 21, Police Chief John Wilson said Friday.
Wilson said Friday morning that capital murder warrants "were being signed" for both suspects in the killing at a liquor store. He said Malvo would be charged as an adult.
Wilson said in a news conference that a police officer identified Muhammad from a line-up, and Malvo was identified from "other evidence."

Question: When the police officer was chasing them, where was their car?

Hahahaha. Very good.

Youbetcha, We don't put up with no junk down here. Wish we could bring "Ole' Sparky" (the chair from long since closed Kilby Prison)out of retirement for the occasion.

"Question: When the police officer was chasing them, where was their car?" I'm thinking he couldn't use the car because the perp was running across a road and a ditch. He apparently was chasing him on foot.
