He wasn't a government trained sniper either. He was a combat engineer who happened to be a damned good marksman. Bi-ig difference, particularly in regard to those who are saying "The army needs to screen their snipers better."

I saw a history channel thing or something about snipers. It said society has always had an ambivalent relationship with military snipers and so the sniper program was discontinued after WWI, WWII AND Korea, then started back up again for each war because it has become a military necessity.

It also pointed out that civilian hunters saved our @sses each time when we desperately needed snipers but didn't have them because the programs had been curtailed.

Just because these murderers didn't fit the mold, doesn't mean that the gun grabbers have to re-think things. They just ingnore the facts that don't fit their model and go on. Facts don't matter to a liberal.
