You're correct, I retract my last post.
David's name is David Paul Wellstone. He is old enough to run, Mark is too young.

Pork loving cracker barrels from the South were not necessarily conservative. If Dems were so damn conservative, why did poor Irish union activists support the Dems from day one?

Perhaps Walter Mondale is planning to change his name to "Paul Wellstone" in hopes that people won't remember his 1984 presidential campaign. (Although the one state he did win was Minnesoooooohda!)

Done! Thank you very much, Terilyn.

This doesn't surprise me at all. The democrats are sub-human with no souls. You know, these plane crashes are nothing new to the democrats. Remember Hale Boggs in the early 1970's? I don't remember if his plane crash was during an election cycle or not, but I do know that he was on the Warren Commission and had been suggesting there was something more there that needed to be investigated. Also, guess who drove him to the airport. Yep, your fiend and mine, Bill Clinton.

Some of us speculated yesterday that even though the Republicans were suspending campaigning out of respect, that the Dems would try to take advantage of the situation. I'm sorry to see that we were right, but in no way surprised.
No doubt the Rats will pressure the Coleman campaign to hold off till after the funeral. Which they will delay, and make a major media event. I still feel that if the Republicans win the seat there will be a legal challange based on the fact it was "unfair to the Democratic voters" and that their "right to cast a ballot" was taken away.

Coleman should immediately film and air his own touchy-feely ad allowing sympathy for the Wellstone family, etc. and that he will continue to 'fight' for Minnesota if the voters will send him to Washington. YES YES YES! C'mon Coleman, what do you have to lose except the election. PLay this thing fast and furious till the end and crush Mondale before he can even start.
