After two years of topping every Democratic Party presidential survey, a majority of Democrats now say that former Vice President Al Gore should not make another run for the White House, a new poll shows.
In a development that could mean Sen. Hillary Clinton is now her party's presidential front-runner, 53 percent of Democrats told an NBC/Wall Street Journal survey taken last week that Gore should "step aside" in 2004 in favor of another candidate, with only 38 percent saying the former veep should try again.
While Gore still leads the pack when compared with other Democrats, the NBC/Wall Street Journal poll omitted the name Sen. Clinton, who is her party most successful fundraiser.
Gore is now favored by just 33 percent of Democrats, with his former running mate, Sen. Joseph Lieberman, the nearest contender at 13 percent.
In other presidential survey's that include Mrs. Clinton, she tops every other candidate besides Gore.
The NBC/Wall Street Journal survey questioned 1,012 registered voters between Oct. 18-21 and has a margin of error +/- 3 percent.

Clinton/McAuliffe made Al Gore an offer he can't refuse. Gore better accept, or else he may end up on this list.

The Democrats need to go outside the box to pick some new ideas. I predict they will pick up a candidate from the progressive (communist) faction (fringe group) of their party.

None of the above _______ (sometimes the best choice)
No leadership, no plans, no policies, no ethics, no character.

Watch her closely.
If she dies by burning, we're definitely in the End Times.

shhhhh dont tell her yet... Hillary in 04 would be good for GOP, she is a much worse campaigner than Bill and a more polarizing figure.
Better to knock her out in 04 than to see her try in 2008 when the GOP will be scrambling. I am assuming of course Bush gets re-elected.

Just once, I would like to see snopes.com debunk try to rumors against a CONSERVATIVE! (Just once, please!) Instead, snopes has become an apologist for the left, and especially the Clintons and Gore.
To: Doubter
Another view? Yes.
A more objective view? Hardly
That rag you seem so fond of is well known for attempting to debunk only conservatives, while ignoring liberal lies and distortions as if they didn't exist. Objective, my eye.
Btw, are you a conservative?
