thanks for the heads-up!

I just heard the imam speak, and I think that it's people like him who are going to make Iraq a stable democracy in the near future.
"I invite you to visit all of us in Iraq after we have overthrown the tyrant Saddam!"

You mean the Freeper rally? No offense, but I saw that on C-Span and thought the speakers sounded like raving nutters. Especially that guy from Young Americans for Freedom, who shouldn't be allowed out without a keeper. Surely our side can do better.

Wow, you'd call the likes of George Holmes and Notra Trulock and the Iraqi dissidents crazies? ::whistling in disbelief:: Yes, the Freeper rally's on now on CSPAN too. Maybe you should watch it again . . . .
To: maica
I agree. The Iraqi's I saw on stage should be interviewed by the mainstream media. A mainstream media that can't call Freepers things like "racist" or "close minded" anymmore. The Freeper stage this weekend looked pretty colorful.

THANK YOU, CJ!!!
I missed it this weekend and am delighted that it's being re-run today!

Re inviting us all when they arrive --
These people in person, off camera were just so nice. I really believe he *was* inviting us to come visit! I can't tell you how well-behaved and articulate their children were, too. God Bless them. I loved how open-minded his talk was too -- at one point he made a bow to the fact that much of his audience might be Christian, noting that if Jesus were to go to Iraq today, he would not support Saddam.
I doubt most of us would agree with them on Israel. But precautions were apparently taken to make sure we all stayed on the topic of the day.

I missed it, too. Watching now!

Is Adam Ramey a FReeper??
To: ArcLight
No offense, but I saw that on C-Span and thought the speakers sounded like raving nutters.Hey...watch who you're calling a raving nutter...I have standards to maintain, LOL!
To: Texaggie79
No, he's not. He's the head of a conservative college student group. We're trying to build bridges with college kids.
To: ravingnutter
WOW. We actually *do* have a ravingnutter here! Coolness.
To: FreeTheHostages
I tuned in late. Did I miss Trulock?
To: FreeTheHostages
Good idea. Not many FReepers here my age.
I was hoping that Adam Ramsey was a FReepers so I could give some constructive criticism to him.
To: katykelly
Yes, but you might be able to see my best side (my back).
