I've been on most of the day (now on the beta site) this morning was fast as always, just started slowing down early this afternoon, could this be as simple as a lot of people trying to log on and comment ?? (seems like this is what happened right after Wellstone's plane went down) If this is a deliberate attack (hacker?) can it be traced ?

I went to beta yesterday....and it got slower and slower and finally quit altogether. I then discovered that although beta had died....regular Free Republic was chugging right along. No slow down discernible.
