1. Each time it is used one might download 200K-300K of material...Takes way longer to load the selfsearch page than it does a page of the 100 most recent articles. There should be a way to limit it to fewer responses.
2. When a user posts a response it automatically triggers the "New post" message at the top of the screen so you don't know if there is a new post to yourself or not until you do a self search.(usually only to find out it is your own post that triggered the alert). A users own post should not trigger that.
Just some ideas on how to cut some bandwidth.
The why is simple, you/we are getting f***ed with. If you recall this happens often around this time of year. I recall.
The the thing is if the f***ees are good enough to stay out of sight. They probably are, as you play with the big boys. You just sometimes aren't aware of how big the big boys are.
