At his "memorial" Wellstone he was deemed a non-person and so were the seven other people who died with him

It's schadenfreud all over again since Wellstone treated innocent human life as non-persons. He ignored the humanity of the unborn and hastened their status as non-entities with his nuumerous pro-abortion votes.

Sorry, but I can't drum up the necessary sympathy over his demise..........and apparently neither could those who attended his "memorial."

* "Democrats have perfected the art of being simultaneously maudlin and vicious, ruthlessly partisan in their pious denunciations of partisanship..."
* "Thou shalt not speak ill of the dead, or the old guy we found to substitute for the dead."
* "Even now, Jesse is working on rhymes for Hmong, and Ted Kennedy is practising denouncing Republican hate-Hmongers without sounding like he's hiccuping."

FOFLOL. Those 3 lines have to be some of the funniest I've read by any political columnist in years.

This sums it up very nicely. Well spoken my friend, it is exactly as I feel about Mr. Wellstone.

The dems are really beneath contempt. I'll have to think of another word.

The days are gone when public figures were remembered for their humanity, patriotism, and their service to the public. The Democrats are so desperate they've taken to defiling a funeral as well as subverting the law in order to win. Today, winning at all costs is the Democratic Party's new motto and never you mind how despicable, tawdry and low they must go to do it. Its all the more ironic when you realize they didn't need to politicize a memorial service to walk away with the Minnesota Senate seat. With some self-restraint, it would have been a slam dunk. What's a disservice to Paul Wellstone is that while he had genuine and principled beliefs and wasn't afraid of going against the crowd, whether in his party or amongst his opponents, his party turns out to have no principles, no core beliefs, no vision, nothing except a lust for power. The Democrats have lost their souls and quite frankly I hope their sleaziness and contempt for the laws and people of this country, evidence in their uncontrolled hatred of conservatives, will backfire upon them. Whatever one thinks of Wellstone's life and career, he deserved better from his own party than what we saw a fortnight ago.

The leftist-socialist-democRAT party is the enemy within.

Part of my oath, which I solemnly swore, was to defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I will not budge from this oath.

Mark Steyn nailed the facts to the wall..those who wish to extinguish our freedom remain amongst us.

Editorial nit: NBA star Len Bias

Len Bias never even made to training camp. After signing with the Boston Celtics, he returned to the University of Maryland and died of eocaine overdose in the early morning hours the next day after partying all night.
