The point is that the end-user always had the ability to boot with multiple OSes, without having the waste of resources, a worsening of the market collapse (indeed, it would have been not much more than a speed bump without the Klintoon DOJ and the RAT AGs trying to destroy Microshaft) and transfer of funds to the RATs through various trial lawyers.
