3 hours? LOL! Wait till I tell MG. She thought for sure she had to fly because it's just so far going from one state to another. We sometimes forget that your states in the East are a tad smaller than those of ours out here in the West. LOL!

I've mentioned that we spent several years in the Northern Virginia suburbs of D.C. A few months after we moved there from Texas my husband was injured in a car accident (not seriously) in Maryland. When the ER called me and told me he was in a Maryland hospital, I came undone. In my mind going to another state was at least a day's drive.

LOL. yes there is a bit of difference in the size of the states, although Ohio is fairly large. WV is not too large but would be larger than Texas if you ironed out all the mountains. WV has a small population compared to some states. Fewer people than a large city. But ohioWfan lives sort of in the middle eastern part of Ohio and I live on the western border (Ohio River) of WV. So we aren't too far apart. (I'm glad).

You should try driving from Houston to El Paso some day. You just have to stop and spend the night somewhere. It's about 800 miles. As the old saying goes,"The sun has riz, the sun has set. And here I am in Texas yet."

She thought for sure she had to fly because it's just so far going from one state to another.Well, I do live in California, the state where if you live in the central part of the state, it's a ten hour drive up to Oregon or an eight hour drive down to the southern border. It's a whole different ball game here. LOL!
Ok, so I am a 5th grade teacher's assistant and didn't know that Ohio bordered West Virginia. Sheesh! Hehehe!
