Capital Buzz: the Democratic leadership have announced a whirlwind sympathy tour in hotly contested Senate races. "Senator Wellstone will be air lifted to 20 cities in 4 days, he'll be propped up and tugging at your heartstrings, just like when he was alive."
It was also announced that the recently deceased Senator will be hithched to the Gore effort for another presidential run in 2004.

I'd usually say that this post was insensitive, juvenile and in poor taste. But considering the "memorial-slash-pep rally" I saw this week this post is pretty high brow.

The RATs have forfeited any expectation of sympathy, or even propriety. As for me, I'm not glad Wellstoned is dead, but I don't care that he's dead, either.
