Great Job Hogs!

Get Parsy's nose in those legal books. We need all we can get on the legal rights of poll watcher in Arkansas. According to a KARK news report I found from the elections office, they cannot do much. I pasted it on the locale page for reference.

"Somebody ( who was there) should call Drudge"

Travelgirl and I tried when we were on the way home, but it was on a cell phone and we couldn't get through. Couldn't redial fast enough.

This is what I found on google.

The director of the state Board of Election Commissioners says that poll watchers have generated questions from voters about what is allowed. Susie Stormes says poll watchers— who can represent a candidate, a party or a group— must present credentials. They cannot be within six feet of booths, cannot do any electioneering, cannot speak to or attempt to influence any voter and cannot disrupt the order of election procedures. Despite citizen concerns, Stormes says no complaints against poll watchers have been filed with her office. She says early voting has been successful overall.

No, thank you....you went and you listened and you shared. I had the time tonight, fortunately, to ping, so ping I did. I just can't believe how people are like the way they are, admiring the Klintoons, listening to them, believing them. They are fools. Don't they realize how they're just being used? I don't understand their willful ignorance. They just need to open their eyes and hear with their ears, the truth; not what they've fabricated in their minds to believe.

The "spy" was not a FReeper so I can't reach him by FReepmail, but Budge has his name and I think there are a couple of others who know him. Will, definitely follow up on the DOJ suggestion. Thanks!

Hopefully, some conservative lawyers can advise us as to civil rights charges our side could file against the Rat lawyers if they try to thwart legal and honest voting.

EXACTLY ..

Well...that's damclose to the answer, but not quite it...MUD

However, that's gotta at least be in the Honorable Mentions...LOL!!

Hey, Budge. Congratulations on your successful FReep of William the Impeached. Do you remember my sister, Patriot1, and me from the March for Justice and the Judgment Day Rally?

Thank you newslady! Of course I remember you both! Told Don Friovinai (who is sitting beside me reading) that as soon as I saw your name!

Give Patriot1 my best and ping her!

Why should a lawyer have anymore say in a precinct than anyone else?

No but these lawyer will try to intimidate folks and threaten a court battle that most folks can't afford in an attempt to make them back down

This is exactly what those Environmental Whack Jobs do to steal folks land till they give up because they can't afford to fight back

This is OUTRAGEOUS .. these Rats need to be stopped NOW!!!

This is an election of the people .. NOT THE LAWYERS!!!

Like in life, in FR, we all have different abilities and jobs....some to "see and share," others use their megaphones and "ping," and still others use their brains, lol. (And some just like to lurk and read....but I bet they'll go tell their friends.) Everything serves a useful purpose.

Nice work Budge! I accessed the presentation that the state gives poll watchers for certification. It states pretty plainly that certified watchers can challenge a voter and how. Apparently the procedure is to fill out a report, then the ballot is placed in a challenged envelope etc, etc.

It is a power point presentation and much of it is in a true/false question format.

Do you all have this stuff?

I've already pinged my ping lists (ATRW and the Pray for President Bush thread) ..... but will try to call in some reinforcements who might have others.

If anyone has a ping list that hasn't already been used on this thread, please call in the troops.

We need to get the word spread from sea to shining sea!

That's what we need, too, some information that sweetliberty or budge could post tomorrow, hopefully, on BREAKING NEWS, requesting that JR keep it there for everyone to read....so they know what to say to RAT lawyers if they're a poll watcher.

There was a FReeper and a couple of the folks from the Hutchinson campaign who were back and forth watching the courthouse because there was word going around that there were plans to open the courthouse. The guy on the inside mentioned that it was brought up by one of the speakers that Republicans were trying to prevent that because they didn't want them (the Rats) voting. LIES! Just lies!

The unnamed FReeper has said that the polls have been getting very ugly down there already. She was told when she said that she was challenging one ballot, "oh no you're not." They were not allowing her to be close enough to see the signatures or ID's. I had this experience poll watching for early voting as well. The Rats are making it impossible for the poll watchers to do their job correctly and if they're challenged they call the sherriff, even when the conflict is their own noncompliance with election law.
