Letters to the Editor for November 4, 2002

By CNSNews.com Readers

Controversy Over Alleged Islamic Ties to Oklahoma City Bombing Continues (Jayna Davis strikes back!)

(Editor's Note: The following is a response by journalist Jayna Davis to certain assertions by Cate McCauley, an investigator appointed by the U.S. District Court to assist with the appeal of convicted Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh, which were published in the October 30 article 'McVeigh Defense Investigator questions Senator's Probe.')

"Twenty-two witness affidavits supported by 25-hundred pages of corroborative evidence is hardly a 'very small package of information,' (about the Oklahoma City bombing). McCauley is wholly unqualified to criticize the complexities of the investigative dossier because she has never reviewed it.

I interviewed nearly 80 potential witnesses, but I deemed only two-dozen to be credible because the veracity of their testimonies could be independently corroborated and their stories did not conflict with the government's timeline of the movements of the Oklahoma City bombers. All confidently identified eight specific Middle Eastern men, the majority of whom are former Iraqi soldiers, collaborating with McVeigh and Nichols during various stages of the bombing plot. They have signed sworn affidavits confirming their testimonies.

After a thorough vetting process, this investigation has earned the ringing endorsement of the lead impeachment prosecutor David Schippers, former Deputy Director of the State Department's Office of Counter Terrorism Larry Johnson, former Director of the CIA James Woolsey, former Chief of Human Intelligence for the Defense Intelligence Agency Colonel Patrick Lang, the Director of Congressional Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare Yossef Bodansky, and the editorial board of the Wall Street Journal, including senior editorial writer Micah Morrison.

Former CIA analyst and Deputy Director of Counter Terrorism for the Department of State, Larry Johnson, has determined that 'without a doubt, there is a definite Middle Eastern tie to the Oklahoma City bombing.' As a Fox News consultant, he has expressed publicly his concern that the Islamic terrorist network, which assisted McVeigh and Nichols, is still operational and poses a threat to national security.

In addition to comprehensive coverage published by the Indianapolis Star and the LA Weekly, I have been invited as a guest to discuss this investigation with Lou Dobb's of CNN, Fox News (Bill O'Reilly, John Gibson, Greta Van Susteren, and John Scott). The credibility of my work has also been recognized by nationally syndicated radio show host Glenn Beck as well as numerous talk radio programs in several major markets (New York, San Fransico, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Tampa, Miami, Nashville, and Richmond.)

(Regarding the civil suit brought against Davis over certain information concerning her investigation,) The court ruling in that lawsuit established I acted responsibly. When I resigned my position at KFOR, I was legally responsible to protect the recorded statements of the confidential witnesses. (Oklahoma State District Court) Judge (Brian) Dixon upheld my journalistic First Amendment pledge to the confidential witnesses to keep their statements sealed until such time that 'law enforcement officials launched a legitimate investigation into the identity of those involved in the April 19, 1995 bombing of the Murrah Building.'"

Timothy McVeigh did not want to go through all the appeals processes that he was entitled to have.

So it was his choice to have a swift execution.

Somebody, CMc, isn't a happy camper.
I love the "ants in the pants" aspect in all of this.
I so hope all those Muhammadans involved get busted!

(From conversations with Jayna, I understand this to be a heavily-edited extract from a much longer [~7 pages] letter submitted by Jayna to CNSNEWS.COM.)
Unbelievable! Surely Jayna Davis' credentials deserved more than a heavily-edited "letter to the editor" response. Too bad we can't see the entire 7 pages.

I've already offered to post here as much -- or as little -- of the 7 pages as Jayna feels appropriate. OTOH, It doesn't make sense for her to expose more of her 'game plan' than necessary at this time...

Patience, please, and, everyone

Please keep Jayna Davis in your prayers!

Thanks for your posts. Do you know what reason was given for calling off the search for the ME men who were scene leaving the scene right after the blast? Have you heard rumors or scuttlebutt concerning this affair?? It would be interesting to hear from someone who was on the inside, so to speak.

Hey G-

You know, I didn't know Jayna Davis lived in Yukon too. Just goes to show, us Millers are good people =^). I also didn't realize you were an LEO. This whole thing must be especially frustrating for you, knowing that it was handled very innappropriately.

I have a special hatred for BillyBob and Reno for refusing to reveal the truth about what really happened.

Why do you use both names for muhammad

I for one am glad he did. There are certainly an awful lot of terrorists named Muhammed running around, and it helps to be able to further identify them as much as possible.

For now.

LOL

I was going to add something like that onto my statement but I figured I would be perceived to be a conspiracy type.

No doubt in my mind the FBI wanted to stop the investigation so only the white anarchists would appear to be involved.

I felt that was from day one because usually Law Enforcement says the investigation will continue until any or all participants are brought to justice.

They immediately said we got them and it's all over. That smells. - tom

Contrast Jayna Davis' cogent (compelling, convincing) respnse to Cate McCauley's drive-by full-auto slander.

O-oh--the FBI altered witness statements?!

W-why, Miss Piggy and I just spit our martinis all over the monitor.

Return with us now to those notorious days of yesteryear--

Hillary Clinton hired Craig Livingstone to acquire 1,000 files from the FBI on Clinton enemies.

Craig put the Honda keys in Vince Foster's pants.

FBI's Horiuchi put the lead in Dravidians.

And there were no Islamo terrorists blowing up the Murrah Building.

And there were no terrorists blowing up Flight 800.

And a white guy named Richard Jewell was framed for the still unsolved Olympic Park bombing.

And the Islamofascists who did WTC I were tied to the Khobar Towers perps--but the FBI failed to question them.

From Mogadishu 93 to the Embassy bombings in 98 to the Cole in 2000, the Islamobombers have been busy.

And nibbling the cookie trail they leave behind has been the FBI Special Obfuscation Unit.

O'Neill was smeared and driven from the FBI when he warned of Islamobombers--to die in the WTC at their hands.

Now we have a McCauley (miraculous namesake of the fed hero "trapped in the Murrah elevator") to jump into real investigative work with hipwaders coated in bullcrap.

The perversion of the nation's foreign and domestic intelligence services by traitorrapist42 is a gift that keeps on giving.

But the Force is with Jayna--the force of truth, justice and the American Way, that is.

You go, girl.

I'd say,

"No doubt in my mind that those giving orders to the FBI wanted to stop the investigation ..."

As to the question of why the investigation was stopped, well I had often wondered and questioned that myself. Well today, after speaking with a new found friend, who is very involved in the investigation, it was pointed out to me that if the government, (ie, Clinton administration-(my opinion, not necessarily that of my friend, may be, but can't speak for my friend)) had investigated the ME angle out to its completion, and it was found to be true that there was ME involvement, and further that there was foreign state involvement, then that would be a foreign attack on the US, and that would have constituted an act of war, and that would have led to what 9/11 led to, and those in power at that time, did not want war with a ME country. (now was that a run-on sentence or what) It was just too easy to blame the whole incident on white, extremeist,neo-nazi types. And today, the coverup and attempts to kill a true investigation continue because many of those people are still in positions of power, and we are now seeing attempts to cover asses.

However, had those in power followed the ME connection to its conclusion, and it was found to be true, and our government had taken the proper responsive action, then the argument could be made that the twin towers would still be standing, the pentegon would not have had to be rebuilt, and close to 3000 of our fellow citizens would still be with us today. We can not say for sure, but we will never know because the ME connection was buried.

All Americans, IMO, owe Jayna Davis a debt of gratitude for her tireless determination to keep pursuing this investigation, at her expense, (both financially, and physically)when her own government was doing all that it could to ignore her and obstruct her. The expense on her financially and physically has, without a doubt been great. Having worked in LE, I can only assume the risks she has taken, and the possible threats that have been leveled at her. Let us all keep her in our prayers, for God's gracious had of comfort, strength and protection over her. God Bless her and those like her that continue to try and shine the light of truth on this horrific tragedy. Again, I was there, I saw the dead, dying and injured. I stood in the daycare playground after the bombing. I saw the horror and pain and destruction. We cannot rest until we see this through to the end and those that are responsible pay the price for their involvement.
