President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush ended their campaign trail today in Texas after visiting Missouri and Arkansas. The first couple will cast their votes tomorrow- their 25th anniversary- in Crawford. And today, birthday gal Laura was treated to rounds of 'Happy Birthday to You' at campaign stops. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

My photos did not turn out--like I mean at all. You can't see anything but a 30 foot blurry flag as the backdrop! Very disappointing. I really do need to get a good camera.

Hello to the dose!
I am watching CNN-Alexandra Pelosi is on talking about "Journeys with George" which airs tomorrow night on HBO. I had read some stuff a few days ago, her comments on the President and I thought they were fairly negative, but she is being very flattering in this interview. I only wish I had HBO. (sniffle)

Hey Lawgirl, I am sure that President Bush saw you today. When you have a huge audience like that, it's hard to see individual faces. It's the tall person, or the one wearing a bright color that catches your attention....hey, you were both! LOL!

Haha! My friend and I had a SS guy following us around when we went to Phoenix and freeped during the recount in 2000 (we were walking in a circle). I kept looking behind me and thought, I wonder why that guy has on a suit with a headset??? Doh!

Don't feel too bad for not getting to actually meet GW. I never did either. The closest I got was about 100 feet. The pictures I took were not with a telephoto lens so his head is tiny!! My sister felt so bad the pictures were so far away that she sends me postcards and Birthday cards with GW on them!!

To add insult to injury, my brother had a meeting in 2000 right before the election. He called me up and after the meeting, he got to meet Dick Cheney (the meeting was with a big RNC supporter). I was so jealous.

GW was just here in AZ recently but I couldn't go see him because I was sick and had to go to the ER with head to toe hives and an anaphylactic reaction.
