That page is a great find. I remember all the "Rice-Boys" at Michigan and now here in Seattle and it's ridiculous. I admit some of the cars do look nicer than how it came from the dealer, but it's gotten to the point of ridiculous.

There's a lot of shallowness with these guys, despite the fact that a car straight out of the factory for what it cost them to buy their Civic plus accessories would dust their rice-rocket. It's all about the image, as I've noticed a lot of superficiality with the younger Asian set.

Give me a Jaguar XKR or for that matter a nice luxury sedan or SUV. Let the riceboys keep their manhood augmentation accessory kits.

Personally,I'm no fan of the Hondas, they have a good following, but for the money you spend on a new civic, you could buy an older 1991 Nissan hatchback, put in a SR20DET redtop turbo, and get a FAST car for under 12k$.

And it's a 4cyl too.

The best thing about the Hondas, performance wise, is that they will acept nearly ANY Honda/Acura engine, from the ZC engine, to the B16a, to the H22a, B18c, and K22a (Type s engine). They are all good reliable engines and mostly take a turbo pretty well.

My pic for cheapest fast ride? SRT4 (Dual exhaust, NO Mufflers!) or a WRX. Even cheaper, a SVT Focus or Mazdaspeed.
