Let's hope that the infamous Carol Roberts of South Florida hasn't moved up there to help count.

Gordon Smith kept his seat as Senator here in Oregon.

Our Gov. race has been tight.
Just 44 votes apart at one time.

Prayers please through the night for Mannix to break a twenty year dem as Governor here in Oregon.

Fox reported that SD had to go out of state to get replacement equipment to finish counting the votes. I hope this is just a simple breakdown and not some scheme to try to save Daschle the final indignity of losing the other senate seat in his state.

Fraud alert! It is no surprise that the FBI is investigating here. How else could a state which is so otherwise GOP-leaning could send two Rat Senators to DC?

Davis cannot run for CA governor again. CA residents should simply hide their firearms for the next four years while Arnold warms up in the bullpen.

Thank goodness for term limits (in this case). Too bad Arnold didn't run for Gov. in THIS race instead of Simon...

My eyes are actually welling up right now, imagining W's standing ovation when he gives us the "state of the union," MN looks in the can to me right now. SD is still big time in play. LA is ours - I can taste it.

I'm proud to be up with you holdout FReepers, waiting for the obvious - concessions!!!!!!

Too soon for Arnold to run. Not yet fully recovered from his pig-heart-valve transplant.

I've had FNC for about 10 months now, and don't always see Rita on a regular basis (She's mostly on weekends, right?). From what I can tell - especially tonight - she appears to be a "rightie".

She is piling on the pounds. I hope she is pregnant. Otherwise she is a cutie.

Methinks you give them too much credit! motor voter was done on emotion. The rats made it impossible to vote against it because that would be disenfranchising voters.

We had a similar thing on our ballot today. Basically it delt with a constitutional rule about numbering ballots. (the intent was to be able to verifiy if fraudulent after the election.)

I believe the measure passed because people saw it as a privacy issue.

The rats saw it as a fraud eliminator. Now they can go wild with illegal votes and nobody can catch them after the vote is cast.

These things pass because the real issue is hidden by a simple emotional response.

Three more precincts in (two from Johnson counties): Thune wins 289 votes to 243.

The reservations are still looming ominously out there.
