Voter fraud will be found for sure, if anyone bothers to investigate.

I thought I heard them say this morning on NBC that a recount is mandatory, given the % margin of apparent victory.
Therefore, Dash-hole ain't no psychic. He's just another political hack who knows the rules.

DUH, tommy. Trying to sound like an authority on something, when recount is mandatory.
With libertarian candidate who garnered 3072 votes pulling out of the race THREE WEEKS AGO, and voter fraud reported in demonRat precincts last week and even earlier than that, my hunch is that Thune may just end up the victor.

I thought the FBI has been there for a week doing just that.
They found a forgerer working for the rats. We'll see.

The state website is reporting that in three counties the Thune/Johnson is WAAAYYY out of the norm for the rest of the state.
Buffalo 81% to 19%
Shannon 92% to 8%
Todd 80% to 20%
I would look carefully for graveyard and illegal votes in these counties.

According to a map on this thread Buffalo and Todd went to Johnson, and Shannon is "results incomplete". Interesting.

As someone that has travelled S. Dakota, I can attest to the vulneralbility of the Indians. Any crooked Dim with money is a powerful force to the many Native Americans who think only of when and how they get their next drink.

Do you suppose Daschle knows there is voter fraud and is trying to distance himself from it by making this statement?

It's only 5000 or so votes to check so it shouldn't be that hard to determine. BTW I can't believe that this should have been so close. What is wrong with those So Dakotans?

It was reported on Fox News this morning that if Thune calls for a recount, he can't challenge the election (in court) due to the voter fraud angle. They said under state law, he can only do one or the other. Is there a better explanation of this anywhere?
To: Pushi
Daschle knows fraud is likely --- Bush needs to call him and offer having Johnson concede after a quick recount or send the Justice Department to investigate the FRAUD! I think Bush would rather concede the race and look into the fraud. VOTE FRAUD might destroy our election process if it is not routed out NOW.

I heard he can just let the recount go forward, then see if there's any fraud. Fed election rules trump state
Also there was 75% voter turnout in some suspect areas of the state. Very unlikely unless the dead were raised
To: spycatcher
What happens if substantial voter fraud is found? The precedents aren't clear to me.
Can a judge throw out the results from specific precincts? Or order a new election? Would a new election be statewide or just in the disputed precincts?
To: Lorena; spycatcher
Thank you both for clarifying that. I knew it sounded fishy, especially since Fox News stopped mentioning it.
