I watched a little bit of the Today show today. But I have to admit, the bits that I watched made me feel very alienated, like I wasn't the target audience for the day. They had a lot of Democrats on their. And a lot of them were giving the same old thing about "The economy is so important." It is very important, which is why we needed Republican control. Since when did people start looking to the Democrats to fix the economy? Do all the media people believe that raising taxes and spending more money on superfluous programs will give our economy a boost? Also, I heard Katie Curic comment that the Republicans were "Crowing" today. It is just me, or does anyone else find that characterization VERY insulting?

Yes, it puts people to work on these expensive programs, they say, and they have paychecks to spend, boosting the economy.

She was crowing on Election 2000 when she thought Al Gore had won. "Then we'll take over," she said. I've never forgotten that...it still chaps my hide to think of it! Maybe other folks haven't forgotten her comment either.
