No, I'm a Fulham fan. We have the most politically incorrect chant in all of football - "Come on you whites!"

No, but other buildings might not be built. And what of the current skyscrapers still out there?

Again, this is legit territory for the Federal government under the powers Congress has to regulate interstate commerce. I seem to believe that is allowed.

And right now, the companies are dropping or limiting coverage. "[W]ith most lenders requiring insurance to finance real estate, plant expansion and other construction projects, industry representatives have warned of damage to the economy." (Source: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/771677/posts - a Whichita Eagle story)

Umm... if a plant is not being expanded or construction projects stop, that is a loss of jobs. People who lose jobs don't buy as much, and there is a ripple effect. And if there were an attack, and the insurance companies were wiped out and go bankrupt, the agents, adjusters, and all of those folks who buy things like cars, appliances, and all that stuff won't buy them.

Again, a ripple effect that hurts other American workers. Your complaints about this terrorism insurance bill are without merit.

I wonder who specifically is "raining on their parade." ;-)

That's just me, disposing of a little used Coors. Hey, liberals love recycling, right? ;-)

Tax dollars for actual defense.
NOT to fatten the pigs who cry "wolf".

If you have proof they are crying wolf, then I want to see it. Otherwise, you're just blowing hot air.

I don't know if you were able to watch from "across the pond", but he kept it on for at least three minutes. It was a classic television moment. And probably his most honest moment, before he resumed "spin mode".

Bush needs to quietly murder the Democrats chances in 2004. If he does something dramatic, like eliminate the IRS, the Democrats will be running around in circles yapping like incontinent poodles on amphetamines. And suffer accordingly.

Speaking of bloody which, where on God's Good Earth is the Tory Party's answer to George W.?

Lady Thatcher was your Reagan. Now who will lead you out of the Wilderness. Not IDS, that's for damn sure.

Watching the Conservative Party in action right now is like watching the Heath Government of the Early Seventies. Agony!

You can't get Whitehall back unless you are willing to be bold. The question is Europe and the defense of the Pound, Common Law, and British sovereignty from the damned Frogs and the Hun. Tell your candidates to grow a pair and start acting like Americans: Say NO to the Fourth Reich, NO to the Napoleonic Code, NO to Bruxelles, and NO to that candy ass Euro. And no to the damned French.

Then say YES to a reinvigorated British legal system, yes to an expansion of the Royal Navy, and see if you can get in on the NAFTA group.

Then watch Labour and their intellectual toadies over at The Guardian and The New Statesman have a fit.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

Just got to see the news conference on video at Cspan. At the end - didn't the President say, disgustedly, something like - I had a great time....or something like that? Then walked out - really really fed up with the presstitutes!!! The video replay doesn't show the "wink" at the end. But it did clearly show his disgust with the media lackeys. After he cleaned their clocks. I LOVE THIS PRESIDENT!!!
