Mexico has the second highest number of violent robberies in the world and has three times more violent crime than the international average, Jorge Espina, president of the 50,000-strong Mexican Employers Federation (Coparmex), said at a Wednesday news conference.

According to a Coparmex study - that uses data from the United Nations and Interpol - Mexico had 10 percent of the world's robberies in 2000 while it only had 1.6 percent of the population.

Espina said Mexico also had the second highest number of kidnappings (after Colombia), and the fourth highest number of murders caused by firearms.

Yet, according to our politicians and our Press, they all come here to pick lettuce and grapes, mow lawns, and go to church on Sunday.

Probably "Old" Mexico and btw Mexico has a total gun ban in place. How, how could there be so many firearms deaths? Guns are banned, don't the thugs know that?

Yet, according to our politicians they are a net PLUS on our economy but now the Feds are considering pulling the plug on "illegal alien subsidies" to the states they are screaming that they need the money because of the illegal aliens are a DRAIN on the economy. (My better half is generally conservative but we had a spat on this last night.)

As long as eternity is, that is how long it will be before Mexico gets any of my tourist dollars.

If you want the real dirt on Mexico and Mexicans, the Mexican press is a good place to go. Note that this is from The News Mexico City. I had previously posted on this story because it was the lead story on TV Azteca's nightly news Wednesday. You won't hear anything about this in the US press.

We just had two illegal aliens from Mexico beat another illegal to death with a softball bat up here in Green Bay. After they did the deed the two perps , covered in blood, abandoned the blood soaked car and dragged the body into the brush then tried to BS their way out of it when the cops found them walking along the highway at 2AM in the morning. This is what we are importing through illegal immigration.

Hey, I live in California. We have a whole bunch more here than you have in Green Bay. There may be other reasons as well, but I think 3rd world immigration is one big reason we have so many Demon Cats in California.

It is a huge factor. LA, which is full of 3rd worlders, gave Gore a 1 million vote net against Jorge in 2000.

Probably 'Old' Mexico..."

Well I had to ask.
Because remember; there's Californico, KnewNewMexico, Arizonaco & of course a place (affectionately known locally) called Texico, too.

Of course you're correct, though; those places would be considered, "New" Mexico, huh? {g}

"...and btw Mexico has a total gun ban in place. How, how could there be so many firearms deaths? Guns are banned, don't the thugs know that?"

And an excellent question yours is, I must say.

Well, let's just ask an Englishman that question, shall we?
I just know they'd have an answer since they too, have a gun ban & rampant crime.
Right?

...know any Englishmen we could ask, Jabba? ;^)

...murders caused by firearms...he forgot robberies caused by something of value...kidnappings caused by kids
