Liberty Belles on
The Rob Nelson Show |
============================== NEWS FROM LIBERTY BELLES P.O. Box 55 Culver City, CA 90232 World Wide Web: http://www.libertybelles.org ============================== FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 6, 2002 ============================== For additional information, contact Liberty Belles, Media and Public Relations E-mail: feedback@liberty-belles.org ============================== CULVER CITY, CA - Liberty Belles, a non-profit organization dedicated to education, promotion, and active support of the inalienable human right of self-preservation through our Second Amendment, is scheduled to be featured on The Rob Nelson Show on Friday, November 8, 2002, to be broadcast nationally on local Fox networks. Check your local listings here. "It was quite an experience for our spokeswoman, Anna Zetchus Raetz, and other members of Liberty Belles to be given the chance to present our viewpoints on the issue of 'Guns In America' before a studio audience," said Marian Hollenbeck, Director of Public Relations for Liberty Belles. "With Liberty Belles taking part on a program that included anti-gun rights California lawmaker Jack Scott, couples who differed with one another on the issue of guns in the home for self-defense, and high school kids on both sides of the argument expressing themselves so clearly, we certainly left the studio with the impression of a fair and balanced program." Also featured is a video of Liberty Belles at the LAX Firing Range in Inglewood, California, honing their skills and stating reasons why our Second Amendment rights, practiced with training and responsibility, are crucial to a woman's self-defense in these tough times. "The associate producer of our segment actually joined us on the firing line and she seemed to enjoy it," Miss Hollenbeck stated with a smile. "Although show business is such that at times positive pro-gun rights footage is left on the cutting room floor, I am hopeful that the original quality and content of the show, as we saw it, will remain intact. "It is vital that Hollywood takes a stand for fair and balanced presentation of viewpoints on talk shows like Rob Nelson's so that the American public can make an informed personal choice on the matter, rather than propagandize in order to have the Constitutional rights of women who choose to protect themselves with firearms taken away."

I just watched the first few minutes of this, and from the lead-in, the posturing of Rob Nelson, the repeated hawking of Columbine, Columbine, Columbine, and the reactions of the heavily stacked anti-gun audience, this show so far is shaping up to be heavily weighed in favor of the useful idiots.
I hope it improved after I left
Mine is the new improved version. ;^)
admin moderator, please lock or delete this (duplicate) thread.
I wasn't knocking the dupicate -- "let he who is without sin", etc.
I just didn't want anyone to miss the comments posted on the other thread.
I know buddy. :-) I'm just havin' a little fun. :-)
.....I have to admit I was a little annoyed by Rob Nelson at the beginning of the show, but I decided to stick it out and was surprised to hear both sides. I will call or email Mr. Nelson's show and thank him. I suggest others do the same.
The Belles are going to love it! I want to put up Chapter 14 and 15 where Ranya Bardiwell is introduced, but they are too long for threads.
I gotta take a pause in typing and build a website at my empty domain FreeAmericans.net.
