"It was quite an experience for our spokeswoman, Anna Zetchus Raetz, and other members of Liberty Belles to be given the chance to present our viewpoints on the issue of 'Guns In America' before a studio audience," said Marian Hollenbeck, Director of Public Relations for Liberty Belles. "With Liberty Belles taking part on a program that included anti-gun rights California lawmaker Jack Scott, couples who differed with one another on the issue of guns in the home for self-defense, and high school kids on both sides of the argument expressing themselves so clearly, we certainly left the studio with the impression of a fair and balanced program." Also featured is a video of Liberty Belles at the LAX Firing Range in Inglewood, California, honing their skills and stating reasons why our Second Amendment rights, practiced with training and responsibility, are crucial to a woman's self-defense in these tough times. "The associate producer of our segment actually joined us on the firing line and she seemed to enjoy it," Miss Hollenbeck stated with a smile. "Although show business is such that at times positive pro-gun rights footage is left on the cutting room floor, I am hopeful that the original quality and content of the show, as we saw it, will remain intact. "It is vital that Hollywood takes a stand for fair and balanced presentation of viewpoints on talk shows like Rob Nelson's so that the American public can make an informed personal choice on the matter, rather than propagandize in order to have the Constitutional rights of women who choose to protect themselves with firearms taken away."
