being so complacent regarding your neighbor's "odd" activities.

Isolationism and closing of borders works as well as forbidding
your teenage kid of heavy petting to prevent promiscuity and
pregnancy. Preserve freedom of movement by paying attention
to details.

Stop expecting your government to protect you from all that's dangerous.

A local fiber optic company had a Chinese employee that stole confidential material and fled to China. Company has won a judgement in US Courts against China. Rotsa Ruck in ever seeing the money though.

I believe Canada has a very friendly immigration policy. Their population is around 25 millions and aging. They need new blood to work and pay taxes to support their expensive social welfare system.

They used to give citizenship to anyone who was willing bring $500,000 to Canada. Not sure if this policy still exists. Anyway, right before Hong Kong was handed back to China, a lot of Chinese from Hong Kong bought their citizenships and moved their families to Canada. I wonder if this is still happening?

It's all part of the long term plans of the International Communist Conspiracy to have the US tie up its resources protecting its immediate borders. That frees up the rest of the borders of the world for Communist aggression. The US has limited military resources and when they are pulled from the DMZ in Korea, from Taiwan, from the Phillipines and other places the dominoes shall begin to fall.

It's time to close our borders!

This will not happen because it is official non-official policy to keep them open. By this I mean it would be political suicide for congress to increase the numbers of legal immigrants to the US but they want the increase so to acheive this end they stopped enforcing the laws and opened the borders to illegals. Why do they want more people in this country when 85-90% of those polled across all demographic lines want it stopped? The common understanding is that the Dems want more voters and the Pubs want cheap labor. Could be part of the equation but I believe it has more to do with keeping out Social Security system afloat ie. to stop government from failure -neither party can allow that. Because of the high cost of living pepole here can not aford to have large families. Coupled with the pill and abortion our population is shrinking. We need to increase the numbers to keep our socialist ponzi scheme going.

Speaking of official non-offical policies I am not sure that we are not allowing the Chinese to do what they do. Not to discount the fact that real spying does take place as well as real bribery/sell-outs/treason but sometimes high up policy is done covertly around congress and public scrutiny. Say for example the old Industrial/Military complex wants more money to spend but the cold war is over and people think there should be a downsizing instead. Allow China to steal our high tech capabilty and then we will have to have newer weapons systems to stay ahead of them. Just something to ponder.
