It did take some courage at first. It was at the head of the parade, and no one had started cheering very much, it was almost quiet. But once it started rolling, it was all she wrote!!!!!
He did look over at me, my son and I were jumping up and down waving, and his face fell a little when he heard us. I felt a tiny bit bad, like maybe I was acting like those cretians who booed Ventura and Lott at Wellstone's campaign memorial party. But I got over it. :-)

At a memorial service, one is *supposed* to be mourning, not stumping at the podium. At a parade, one is *supposed* to be cheering, etc. from the sidelines. If a public figure makes a voluntary appearance in a parade, he/she should expect to receive public "input".

Good for you Jael. So glad to see a freeper had the nerve to do that in Alabama. I do wish that I could have been there to cheer you on.
