I don't have the HTML Bootcamp thread link handy... Search for "HTML Bootcamp" and there's a great deal of interesting information there.

To make a link, one takes the URL (Internet address) of the page, and some link text. For example, let's make a link to Free Republic. The URL is "http://www.freerepublic.com", and it's very important to include the http://, for some other resources don't use http and that will confuse and break the link. Instead of bras and kets, (< = bra, > = ket) I'll use the square brackets [].

Go here" and get a clipboard program. What I then do, is keep the basic html tags on it and insrt urls as wanted. Then right clik, copy, paste. Voila!
