Well, there could be a bright side. When California secedes, declare war, conquer, and occupy. Break it up into five or six separate states for re-admission into the Union, and have our FReepers run for office in the new states (think of new Senators!). Governor JimRob? That'd sure be interesting.

Oh yes, LA and SF and adjoining liberal areas to remain under a military occupation government indefinitely.
