Can you bake a pie?
no?
Neither can I!

Depends on what you mean by bake .. from scratch?? .. NOPE

But there is this lovely pie crust thingy that Pilsbury makes and you can buy that stuff for the filling and presto .. you have pie

But I don't really do that either .. I personally like to do my part in keeping the economy going and head to the Bakery

Good morning to all my favorites girls and you too MO1. Billie and daisyscarlett sure do treat us Philadelphians nice. I hope your special day is as wonderful as the one they whipped up for me. That sounds like a wonderful cake you baked.

Christmas is about the only time I make this particular cake - it's also the only time I do other desserts that are too time-consuming and too rich to eat often, but something that we've always gone all-out for. You know - the good china, chargers, crystal, real napkins, dress-for-dinner, etc. LOL! Here's the cake - sometimes I've made two during the holidays - one for Open House, one for Christmas Dinner Dessert....

Mo1, CONGRATULATIONS ON BEING THE "FINEST OF THE fINEST"!

I had an opportunity to get to know you when you ran as "go between" for the D.C. Freep of the anti-peace scum. Your commentary was pointed and humorous and it was a good day.

You don't bake and you paint decks at midnight. And you're Irish. Are you sure we weren't separated at birth?

Your family is beautiful, but then you already knew that. I loved the confession that you put the computer in the kitchen so you can keep up with the necessary chores and still surrepticiously Freep all day and night. I think a lot of us use those kinds of subterfuses to hide our addiction from our husbands. Why invite trouble? I'm so glad to know you better and to put a pretty face to your name. Have a great day!

How you can do all that and still control the “wild wimmin,” is amazing.

Simple .. take all the crayons away so they don't color on the walls ..

Good morning TO. Glad you recovered from your day in the spotlight. Bet your fingers are sore today from all that posting yesterday, lol.

It is amazing how sometimes we have back to back profilees from the same part of the country...nothing planned, just happens that way.

Thank you Billie.....Some day I hope to have a Christmas dinner where everything comes together with the china, food, decorations etc. I aspire to it each year, but always fall short in some area or the other...I am sure your family and friends appreciate your efforts and have wonderful holiday memories because of it.

"I thank God every day for bringing this man into our lives, because if Al Gore was President, I would surely be an alcoholic by now."
I absolutely cracked up when I read that. It's so true - I'd be right there with you!! LOL! {{{{{{{{MO1}}}}}}}

FOFL .. somehow I think if that all happen we'd have alot more company

Just the thought .. WOW ..

But thankfully God smiled down on us and now we get to hear the folks over at CNN say "What Went Wrong?" over and over and over

It's the small things in life that make me smile .. hehe
