During the last decade, two million children worldwide have been killed as a result of war, four to five million children have been disabled, 12 million have been left homeless, more than one million orphaned or separated from their parents, and approximately ten million children have been psychologically traumatised as a result of war (UNICEF's The State of World's Children 1996).
The most affected countries regarding the killings of children due to war or its consequences are Afghanistan and Iraq
. OIL? I don't need oil as a reason to go kick Saddam Butt. He has given us many reasons to already.
And why do I keep hearing crap in the press from talking head liberals that we have not really accomplished anything in Afghanistan? A simple search of news articles and Afgha.com (not to mention other mid-east sites) reveals that much has been done. Always more to do, but isn't it better then what was there before? And isn't it the liberals who are so fond of saying 'if it saves one life....'
Please check out the links and take a look - We should salute our troops and thank them for the great job they have done. Lierbals are idiots.

Can someone explain to me why so many of these drawings have english on them? Like "book" and "Poor Taleb" etc.

I am guessing that the kids there were learning english, since these drawings were obviously not made during taliban rule.

I'm going to hear the Christian Missionaries that were held captive by the Taliban this weekend at a Christian Women's conference.
