As conservative as I and my bride are, I still believe that we all have the responsibility to teach our children what we believe. These flower children see it the same way. The way to counter this is to teach our children what WE believe, show them how this is NOT a "war for oil," that we are putting our foot down in the face of terrorism and weapons of mass destruction, not allowing the rampant spread of extremist Islam, and won't be bullied.

Believe me, there are more parents who believe this than what these sprout munchers believe. The conservative position is one borne of logic, reason, and truth. It is our responsibility as parents to pass that along to our children. Lefties see their responsibility the same way. The problem comes when we don't do anything to counter the lefties' "education programs."

If more conservative parents took the attitude that they, as parents, are ultimately responsible for their kids' education, the gubmint school "programs" would have no fertile soil in which to germinate.
