I suggest there is a large difference between adopting your maiden name as your middle name after marriage and actually using it as your full name. Hillary is NEVER Hillary Clinton. She is either Hillary! or Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Also, Hillary didnt take the Clinton name upon marriage. She remained Hillary Rodham until polling showed that her not taking the Clinton name was hurting Bill and possibly cost him reelection as Gov. It was then she took Clinton as her last name.

But even if she didn't follow etiquette and has had umpteen different names based on her political convenience, she's still not hyphenated.
