I'm becoming convinced that I exist in some kind of Gumby parallel universe, at least on FR. I try to be funny and people get all serious on me. I post serious items and all the clowns show up. Not all the clowns, just enough for a quorum....;o)

I will make a case that David, from whose lineage Christ came, was a Ford man. In 2 Samuel we learn that David wants to meet the priest Zadok at a Ford dealership--
2 Samuel 15:28 - "See, I will wait at the Fords of the Wilderness...."

In Jeremiah we learn that Israel destroys Babylon and confiscates its vehicles....
Jeremiah 51:32 - the Fords have been seized, the bulwarks are burned with fire, and the soldiers are in panic.

...an endorsement for Honda...OUTSTANDING!

...buy the .... one that truly meets your needsIf I could afford it, that would be a fully-loaded Lincoln Navigator. Meanwhile, I'll have to stay with my big, red, F-350, Diesel, crewcab, dually, long-bed pickup truck (242K and counting), especially with all the scriptural documentation pushing "Ford" products - BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

You forgot: "How many skunks had to die to make Sam Donaldson's wig?"

OK, here's a serious response:

Forgive my ignorance--I'm Jewish--but Jesus apparently did not need to drive any car, being divine and having the power of bilocation...right?

When He was incarnate, Jesus surrendered His divine characteristic of omnipresence.

Remember Proverbs 17:22
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine...

Forgive my ignorance--I'm Jewish--but Jesus apparently did not need to drive any car, being divine and having the power of bilocation...right? But driving a Hummer is a lot more fun.

Just ignore these people. They are preaching from The Gospel according to Peter, Paul and Mary.
God gave us the brains to figure out how to take care of our energy needs, but when we try to remedy those needs the greens get in the way.

Wasn't there something in the 10 Commandments about taking the name of the Lord in vain? Or was it about using the Name for gain?

I demand equal time for motorcycles with straight pipes. After all, David's Triumph was heard all over the land.
To: HiTech RedNeck
I always thought David's Triumph was a 60's sportscar with a hole in the muffler.....

Maybe it is disrespectful to speculate on what Jesus would drive. Anyhow... for what it's worth, I have this picture in my mind of the 12 disciples carving up the desert wilderness on Bultacos. Judas Iscariot is always chiding the other 11 for doing wheelies, but under the cover of darkness he siphons their gas.
To: AAABEST
I'm surprised there are not handouts detailing companies to buy gas from...those who purchase gas from the middle east vs those that don't...

Now Joshua had a Dodge pick-up outside Jericho--
Joshua 6:5 - And when they make a long blast with the Ram's horn, as soon as you hear the sound of the trumpet, then all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city will fall down flat, and the people shall go up every man straight before him."

Now Paul was partial to
fast cars--
Acts 28:3--
And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a Viper out of the heat....
To: HiTech RedNeck
Ezra seemed partial to Dodge muscle cars--
Ezra 1:9 - "And this is the number of them: thirty Chargers of gold, a thousand Chargers of silver...."
