I'm sorry you won't be able to hear Hillary shouting her words. My eardrums were vibrating.

1.Clinton:I appreciate the Senator's factual intervention.

She says this short sentence and then skips to more wordiness.

2. Mr. NICKLES. I want to make a statement. Too many times it happens--the Senator yields to me to ask a question, not to make a speech--many times in the debate people have yielded the floor as if they control the floor. The Presiding Officer controls the floor. The Senator can yield for a question but not yield for a speech.

A subtle reprimand from Nickles.

3. Clinton: Maybe it is not artfully enough drafted. I certainly have the greatest respect for my colleague from Oklahoma, who is one of the premier legislators in this body, but if it is not clear, then I will be more than happy to write it so it is absolutely clear.

In other words, she is saying Nickles is not smart enough to understand what she wrote.

4. Clinton: We have the same language that was used in the first Bush recession. Now we are in the second Bush recession. We are using the same language. It worked then.

Blaming Bush for the recession. She does it more than once.

5. Mrs. CLINTON. It includes States with concentrated high unemployment. That is true, there is a slightly different trigger. Again, I was not around in 1991 and 1992, so I cannot speak to what the Senator would or would not have done.

And she escapes from guilt for not mentioning the difference between the triggers, because she wasn't around. She tries to word this in a way that doesn't sound like she is looking for an excuse, but she is looking for an excuse.

Oh THANK YOU! Thank you for typing up that exchange-I could feel how it came across and imagine the facial expressions...even if I could not view it happening. Thanks, again. (And I love Senator Nichols-he takes no prisoners and is less than empressed by the klintons-always has been and makes no secret of it! Remember when a member of his family was threatened during Senator Thompson's chinese campaign finance so called investigation that the dems under john glenn and levin and cleland and durbin and other panty waists destroyed?)

I don't when yesterday that heinous so called woman made the attack on our war on terrorism, stating the newest memo attack from Carville (no doubt) (has he LOST it, or what? heheh), that since Osama had not been caught and it has been well over a year (oh gag me), etc., etc., that President Bush and team are not succeeding in the war on terrorism effort (or words to that effect).

GHASTLY COMMENTS!!!! And to say this to the press when when young men and women are over in Afganistan working their BUTTS off after a successful rout of the horrid taliban...being shot at, risking their lives....to have to hear a US senator or senators saying they were failing-I DISPISE hitlery and daschle for this!)

To build DISTRUST in our war effort when we are in the war???????????? To attempt to dispirit our people not to mention our TROOPS?

I mean....Hillary looked as if she were truly mentally ill during that press conferance. She was disheveled, bitter, reading from a piece of paper, out of touch and flat out strange.
