As part of a $24 million judgment, the jury pinned most of the fault for the 2000 slaying of Barry Grunow on the gun's owner and school officials.

Note to self.....25 cal Raven handgun by Phoenix Arms.

Check out the auction prices. $75 for an excellent condition pocket pistol. Check the links. You'll even get mugshots of the offending murderous pistol.

I think I'll buy one just to p*ss these pr*cks off.

"Any word on what make and model this supposedly "unsafe, defective, and lacking features" firearm this was?"

Because it didn't come with a trigger lock. Not because the kid stole the gun, stole the ammunition, loaded the gun, took it onto school property and pulled the trigger.

Don't waste your money. The Raven is notorious for poor construction. Get the HP22 from Phoenix if you want to support the company.

You should be able to pick up a Bersa for under $200. Better than that is the Llama Micro-Max which I'd expect to pay about $225 for. Sorry for the hijack.

Actually, the case is about a Raven MP-25, made the original Raven Arms Co. before its factory burned down and it went out of business in 1991. Phoenix Arms started making "Ravens" after that. So if you want the actual gun at issue in this case, you'll have to look for it used.
